A winner under saddle, Samad was incredibly versatile competing with Sally in BHS eventing, dressage (up to Elementary level) and showjumping. He was a member of the Arabian Knights team chasers, the only ever team of purebreds team chasing in the UK. Sam nearly always won and achieved many successes including the AHS performance horse of the year title.
