Plum has proved his capability in the ridden ring making the rare transition from a successful in-hand horse to a ridden Champion.

Plum made his debut in the ridden ring just two weeks after his fourth birthday, taking the Novice Ridden Championship  at the UK Gold International. Shown just four times that season he won 3 times and was Champion twice.

Plum has wonderful balanced and correct paces. He always gives a lovely ride and judges express wonderful comments after having ridden him.

In 2007 Plum was allowed to mature and just competed in dressage, he had a successful 2008 season with several wins and culminated in a successful appearance at Horse of the Year where he was a creditable 6th at just 6 years old, proving he could cope with the pressure.

This year Plum has again only been lightly shown with several wins including The Classic and retaining his title at The Royal Show. At UKIAHS he tied for first place on points; in an electric atmosphere in the ride off, he delivered a foot perfect performance but finally had to settle for second. He will of course be at HOYS again this year.
