Plum is flying the Arabian flag in the British Dressage world competing against warmbloods and other “typical” dressage horses. He is proving himself to be very capable and has won or been in the top 5 on every outing.
In his first season he has qualified for Pet Plan Area finals at both Preliminary and Novice and we are hoping he will qualify at both of these levels for the British Dressage Winter Regional Championships. Plum also manages to deliver exceptional and consistent results and won a very strong class in August 2009 with 72%. Plum has built a wide fan club amongst "non arab" people who like to see him perform. They are delighted by his excellent behaviour, manners and paces. In March 2011 Sally moved Plum so they could both train with grand prix dressage rider Rhett Bird who has numerous wins and placings at National and International level. The move has been excellent enabling Plum to focus and work in a consistent manner every day. He has a positive attitude to work and learning. He is progressing well and the work regime uses up all his excess energy! In a short time the difference has been very noticable with people who have known Plum commenting how much he has changed. ![]() |
